Having lived in my semi detached home for about 18 years, selling it was always going to be a stressful business whichever way I was going to look at it. There was no way that I was going to market it myself. I approached two agents informally one of which was John Groomes who I have known for about 10 years. Ever since I had mentioned to John that I may be selling he had kept me up to date with what was happening in the market. So, before Christmas 2014 I listed the property informally with John not really expecting too much to happen so close to Christmas.
